How to Improve Your Edge Score
Emmanuel
๐กYour Edge Score is calculated from 12 verified metrics across three categories. If your score is lower than you want it to be, here is a practical breakdown of what to focus on โ and how to move the needle without changing your overall trading approach.
The fastest wins Risk Control (35% of your score)
SL Compliance Rate has one of the highest sub-weights in Risk Control. If you are trading without a stop-loss on any trade, those trades are dragging your score significantly. Attach a stop-loss to every single trade โ no exceptions. Even if you plan to close manually, set an SL as a safety net. Average Risk Per Trade is another quick fix. If you are risking more than 2% per trade, reducing your position sizes will improve this metric immediately. Trade the same strategy โ just with smaller lot sizes.
The medium-term work Consistency (35% of your score)
Profit Consistency improves with disciplined weekly performance. Avoid large single trades that make or lose everything in one position. A trader who earns consistently small profits across many weeks scores higher in consistency than one who has one huge winning month. Profit Factor improves when you let winning trades run and cut losing trades quickly. If your average win is smaller than your average loss, your profit factor will be below 1.0 regardless of your win rate.
What NOT to do to game the score
The Edge Score system is designed to be manipulation-resistant. Going inactive during bad periods does not help โ the 90-day window is calendar-based. Placing many tiny winning trades to inflate win rate is caught by the Profit Concentration Index. Trade your actual strategy. A good strategy produces a good score.
