How to Read a Trader's Profile
Emmanuel
๐กEvery Pro Trader on Edgeworth has a public profile with verified data. Here is what to look at and what it means:
Edge Score and Tier:
The headline number. Conservative (40โ59) is careful and steady. Balanced (60โ74) is solid across all areas. Advanced (75โ89) is strong. Elite (90โ100) is exceptional. Fail means they cannot be copied.
Trader Type:
Conservative, Balanced, Moderately Aggressive, or Aggressive โ based on their leverage, risk per trade, R/R, and drawdown history. Choose a trader whose type matches your comfort level.
Monthly Return Chart:
Do not just look at the best month. Look at the worst month. Look at how many months were green vs red. A trader who made 30% in one month but lost money in 8 of the last 12 months is not a consistent trader.
Total Followers and AUM:
These are social proof signals. Many followers and high AUM means other users have independently decided this trader is worth following. But do not let popularity replace your own analysis โ always check the Edge Score.
Average Trade Duration:
Scalpers open and close trades in minutes โ your account will be very active. Swing traders hold for days โ your capital may be tied up for extended periods. Make sure the trader's style works for you.
